The ELMO HV-5100XG is found in OM 311.


Using the Document Camera
Start the room up as you would normally and select the appropriate source button to display the document camera. Use the What's In My Classroom? page to find the instructions for your particular classroom.

     


POWER: The POWER switch (1) is located on the right-side of the document camera near the back.

ZOOM: Use the TELE & WIDE buttons (2), which are centered on the front of the document camera, to zoom in & out on the subject placed on the document camera's stage.

FOCUS: After you have zoomed in/out on the image, press the AF button (2) to focus the image. This button is located to the right of the zoom controls.


IRIS: Iris controls allow you to brighten or darken the document camera image. If the AUTO/MANUAL button is not lit, the document camera is in auto iris mode. To engage manual iris mode, press the AUTO/MANUAL button once and the button will light. Then press the OPEN button to brighten the image and the CLOSE button to darken it. These buttons are located just above the zoom controls (2).

     

POSI/NEGA: To invert the colors of the document camera image, press the POSI/NEGA button (3), which is located near the front of the document camera on the right. Pressing it again will restore the image's natural colors. This can be used for viewing negative film or can help make some documents easier to read.

IMAGE ROTATION: To rotate the document camera image, press the IMAGE ROTATION button (3), which is located near the front of the document camera on the right. Each press will rotate the image counterclockwise by 90 degrees.

LIGHTING: The LAMP button is located on the right-side of the document camera near the front (3). Each press of the LAMP button will cycle the document camera's lights; upper lamp lights on, base lights on, base lights out, etc.

PAUSE: To freeze a document camera image, press the PAUSE button (4). This button is located to the left of the zoom and iris controls. To unfreeze the image, simply press the PAUSE button again.
