Windows: Connect to CanisiusWireless

Windows 11:

  1. Select the Network, Sound, or Battery icons (  ) on the far right side of the taskbar to open quick settings.

    The Disconnected icon appears when you’re not connected.

  2. On the wireless network quick setting, select Manage Wireless connections.

  3. Choose the wireless network named CanisiusWireless, then select Connect.

  4. Type in your Canisius username and password, and then select Next.

  5. When prompted to install a security certificate, accept and install (you will need to enter in your computer’s password to allow).

Windows 10:

  1. Select the Network icon on the taskbar. The icon that appears depends on your current connection state. If you don’t see one of the network icons (or a similar one) shown in the following image, select the Up arrow  to see if it appears there.

  2. Choose the Wi-Fi network CanisiusWireless, then select Connect.

  3. Type in your Canisius username and password, and then select Next.

  4. When prompted to install a security certificate, accept and install (you will need to enter in your computer’s password to allow).

  5. Choose Yes or No, if you want your PC to be discoverable by other PCs and devices on the network.
