Internet Explorer 10: How to Enable Compatibility View

 To activate Internet Explorer 10 Compatibility View

Changing to compatibility view can be completed and used in the desktop version, it can not be completed or used while in the metro version.

 follow these steps to activate:

1. On the Start Screen click the Internet Explorer (IE) desktop tile

2. From the desktop view locate the IE icon on the Taskbar and click it

3. Once IE opens, in the address bar enter the URL of the site where you are experiencing issues

4. Press enter

5. Press the F12 key on the keyboard

6. At the top of the F12 panel select Browser Mode IE 10

7. Select Internet Explorer 10 Compatibility View

8. Close the F12 panel by pressing the F12 key
