Microsoft Teams: Automatically Activate Captions/Transcripts in Teams Meetings

In this tutorial, we show how to automatically activate captions/transcripts in a meeting.

In Teams, click on the three horizontal dots to the left of our user icon in the upper-right.

Select Settings in the menu that appears.

Select Captions and transcripts in the menu on the left.

Click on the slider to the right of “Always show live captions in meetings”.

When we do, the slider should change colors, meaning it is now active. We can leave settings and continue using Teams as needed.
