Please follow the instructions below to connect to the unencrypted Gryphon network

Overview: Before you begin

  • Ensure that you are on the Canisius Campus
  • For best results, OS 10.9 (or higher) is suggested

Step 1: Turn Wireless On


Step 2: Select Gryphon

If Gryphon is not broadcasting, click here



Step 3: Using Safari, visit Canisius.edu

Step 4: Review the End-User License Agreement

Step 5: Sign the EULA with your Canisius Username and Password at the bottom of the webpage

Step 6: Restart your Mac

Step 7: Enjoy surfing the web on Gryphon
