Powering Up the Equipment
The equipment TV is controlled from the conference table using a Crestron Touch Panel.   the SAMSUNG remote control.  Point it at the TV and press the red power button to turn it on.

Projector Standby (PIC-MUTE)
Each source page (Podium Laptop, etc.) has a Television Standby button located in the lower left corner of the screen. Pressing this button once will place the LCD TV in standby or pic-mute mode. While this mode is active, the button will flash. Simply press the button again to take the LCD TV out of standby mode.

Samsung Remote

Volume
Volume is controlled with the Samsung remote control.  Use the VOL +, - and MUTE buttons to adjust the audio from the TV.

NOTE: Computers have their own volume controls which may need to be adjusted separately.Blu-ray or DVD Playback (via Blu-ray player)
The disc tray on the Blu-ray player in this room is not functioning properly. It is strongly recommended that you do not use the Blu-ray player, as it's possible your disc will become stuck in the player.

Connecting a Laptop
The cables HDMI cable needed for connecting a laptop computer are is found on the conference table.

Using the HDMI cable
1. Plug the VGA cable into your laptop's VGA port.

Auxiliary Video Input
Use the external Audio/Video cables located by the rack to display images from a portable VHS VCR or other external device; composite audio/video cables are provided.
After connecting your device with the appropriate cables, press the AUX button on the Crestron to display the appropriate touch-screen controls.   Web Camera and Conference microphone

The web conferencing equipment requires both the web camera and conference microphone be connected tot eh presenters laptop.  Two USB-A cables are connected to a USB-A hub to allow for a single connection to a laptop. To use the camera and microphone, each must be selected from within the web conferencing software to be used.  The web camera is labeled Aver, and the conference microphone is Revolabs.  

The camera image can be adjusted with the AVer remote control.  Point the remote at the camera, then use the directional buttons to pan and tilt the camera, and the zoom rocker to zoom the image in or out.  The conference microphone has a mute button to disable or enable the mic.  To operate press the icon of a red microphone with a slash.  Pressing the same icon again unmutes the mic.

Powering Down the Equipment
Press the power button on the SHUTDOWN button on the Crestron to display the appropriate touch-screen controls. Press the "Yes, Shutdown" button to proceed with shutdown or the "No, Go Back" button to cancel.
