If you have applied the Java version 8 update 51 to your computer, you will need to make some settings changes for Banner to operate properly.
Step-by-step guide
Follow these steps to correct problems with Banner after installing Java 8 update 51
- Go to Start button -> Control panel -> Java -> advanced tab -> scroll to Advance Security Settings.
- Uncheck "Use SSL 2.0 compatible ClientHello format".
- Check "Use TLS 1.0"
- UnCheck "Use TLS 1.1"
UnCheck "Use TLS 1.2"
Your Java control panel should look like this now:
- Close and relaunch your browser.
