Embedding YouTube in PowerPoint 2010

Embedding Powerpoint 
  1. Locate the YouTube Video
  2. Click the Share button
  3. Check Use old Embed Code
  1. Copy the code
  2. Go to PowerPoint
  3. Click the Insert Tab
  4. Select Video and then choose Video from Webpage

 

  1. Paste the code into the box

  2. Next remove from the code the text which is version=3 (this could say version=1 or another number).  In the above example this is listed in two places, it must be removed in both.  Simply hit the backspace and take it completely out. (it will not work unless you remove the version=? html)

  3. Next Insert
Preview your slide show to see the embedded video.  It will not work in edit mode.
