Academic Advisors are part of the student success team at Canisius and an important part of student success and retention. Each student has an academic advisor. By default, this is their department chair or program director but may be assigned by the chair or program director or selected by the student. This resources is designed with input from the Griff Center, the associate deans, and the Faculty-Student Liaison committee of the Faculty Senate.
