Do I need an adapter to connect my device for display on a projector or TV?
Classrooms and event spaces are equipped with either a VGA or HDMI connection to get a signal from your device to the display. If your device requires an adapter, ones are available for short term loan from the offices listed below.
Below is a list of adapters available for faculty, staff, and student use at Canisius and where you can get them.

Where can I get an adapter?
Andrew L. Bouwhuis Library
A wide variety of adapters are available at the Bouwhuis Library Service Desk (ext. 8412). A valid Canisius ID is needed to sign out an adapter.
These adapters are intended for use in classrooms, as well as with any of the technology-equipped group study rooms and media:scapes located in the library.
Conference Room/Event Use
If you have booked a room for an event through the Office of Event Services and require an adapter, please be sure to inform them of the type of port that is found on your device.
If your event is booked in a classroom, however, you will be responsible for signing out the needed adapter from either the library or Media Center.
Media Center
In addition to the adapters available at the library, the Media Center (LY 414) also has a number of adapters available for the convenience of faculty teaching in Lyons Hall. A valid Canisius ID is needed to sign out an adapter.
