The Epson DC-13 is found in HS 205, HS 219, HS 221, LY 311, OM 115, and OM 119.
Using the Document Camera
Start the room up as you would normally and select the appropriate source button to display the document camera. Use the What's In My Classroom? page to find the instructions for your particular classroom.
POWER: The POWER button is located on the top of the document camera body next to the camera arm. Note that to power of the unit, the power button must pre pressed, then released and pressed again.
ZOOM: Use the Zoom buttons, which are on the top of the document camera body and second from the right, to zoom in & out on the subject placed on the lectern.
FOCUS: After you have zoomed in/out on the image, press the Focus button to focus the image. This button is located to the right of the zoom controls.
IRIS: Iris controls allow you to brighten or darken the document camera image. To adjust the brightness manually, press the bright + and - buttons. These buttons are located above and below the Enter button on the directional pad.
LIGHTING: The Lamp switch is located on the front of the document camera'c camera arm . It tuns the built in light on or off.
FREEZE: To freeze a document camera image, press the Freeze button. This button is located on the right of the document camera body, above the Focus button. To unfreeze the image, simply press the Freeze button again.
Web Camera: The Epson DC-13 can be used as a web camera if connected to a Mac or PC via a USB cable. This cable is NOT INCLUDED in the classroom. The camera can be flipped up and includes a built in microphone. The image from the camera will need to be rotated when used as a web camera. You can rotate the image by pressing the [Menu] button and then selecting Image > Image Rotation > 180degrees.
