GRADUATE TUITION VOUCHER POLICY
Canisius College awards tuition vouchers for graduate study as remuneration for supervising professionals who assist the college in preparing teachers, counselors and administrators.
The following policies govern the actual use of the vouchers:
- Vouchers may be used by GRADUATE STUDENTS ONLY for tuition or audit charges.
- Vouchers are transferrable only once. The maximum allowable redemption of transferred vouchers is $6,000.00 per person per graduate program. It will be the student’s responsibility to track the redemption limit of transferred vouchers.
- Vouchers may not be applied to any past due bills.
- Vouchers may be applied toward any of the following:
- GRADUATE COURSES in the School of Education & Human Services.
- GRADUATE COURSES in the Wehle School of Business.
- GRADUATE COURSES in the College of Arts and Sciences.
- Vouchers may be used toward any regular GRADUATE COURSE at Canisius College, but not for Independent Study or Tutorials.
- Courses may be taken for credit or audit. Audit charges are 50% of regular tuition.
- Vouchers do not cover student lab, course fees or books.
- If the amount of your voucher exceeds the cost of tuition, you will not receive credit to your account.
- To register for a course: If you will be a first-time Canisius Graduate Student, you must submit an application for admission and mark “Teacher/Counselor with Voucher.” No application fee will be charged. You will be considered a non-matriculated student. Should you decide to seek a degree or enroll in a program leading to a certificate at Canisius, the regular admission requirements, including transcripts, will be followed. - A returning student may simply register for a course.
- You will be billed after you register. Tuition Vouchers submitted electronically will be directly applied to your bill. Any additional payments must be made by the due date posted on your bill.
