1 . The first step in setting up a wireless account on the iPad is to go into the Settings section of the iPad. This will be located on the main screen 
2. Next(while in the Settings section) click on the link on the left side of the screen titled 'General' 3. Next Click on the tab to the right under the general section labeled 'Network' 
4. Click on the network labeled "gryphon". - if gryphon does not appear on this list, skip to step 5. If gryphon is on the list of available networks skip over step 5. 
5. If gryphon is not on the list of networks choose "other" from the list. On the screen that appears, type "gryphon" in the box that says 'name' and leave the security at none. Click Join. 
6. Open your browser and you will be connected to the Canisius College Network Registration System. Read through the terms of use. Scroll to the bottom of the page to log into the system. Use your Canisius College username and password. Click Accept.
**Note: It may take a few minutes to register your device with the server**
7. You may be brought to a screen that tells you to restart your device. Restart your device only if prompted to do so. When you power back on you will be registered with the wireless network 'gryphon' . If you do not receive this message you will not need to restart your computer.
