Establish a Remote Session with Canisius ITS using TeamViewer
On occasion, when you call the ITS Help Desk, the technician may ask for your permission to use "remote control" software in an effort to solve your problem. Using TeamViewer, the ITS Help Desk can remotely control any computer as if they were sitting right in front of it. When asked, all you have to do is download & run a small application, which doesn't even require installation or administrative rights.

To prepare for a remote session:
1.    Click the appropriate link below.
2.    Save the file to your computer's desktop (or other location where you’ll be able to find it).
3.    Double-click the saved file (teamviewerqs) & run it.
4.    When the program runs, you’ll see a small window open like the image included below.

In preparation for the remote session:

1.       Click this link http://www3.canisius.edu/~itsdocs/content_for_itswebsite/teamviewer/teamviewerqs_win.exe

2.       Save the file to your desktop (or other location where you’ll be able to find it).

3.       Double-click the saved file (teamviewerqs_win.exe) & run it.

4.       When the program runs, you’ll see a small window open like the image included below.
