Windows 7 

Prior to Windows 7 there was typically a combination of keys on a laptop's keyboard that would toggle through the various configurations for multiple displays.

The Fn+F4 (or similar key combo) doesn't seem to work in Windows 7.

Multiple displays will likely have to be managed through one of the mechanisms shown in the image to the right. (One of which is a different key combo).
