Creating Shared Spaces in Teams
Create a group Chat (similar to texting) for you and others. You can also share documents, though they are automatically set to “Anyone with the link can view”, so make sure that these documents do not contain any private/privileged information.
With a Team, you can communicate with and share documents securely (vs. a Chat, which only allows for publicly sharing documents) with people added to the Team. Creating a Team also creates a SharePoint Site (similar to a Shared Google Drive/Google Sites combination, see below for more information) for that Team, which anyone added to the Team can access.
Similar to a Team, but with additional tools geared towards courses and course administration.
