The New System: Follow Me Printing
ComDoc will be on campus starting Tuesday, December 8, 2015 to install new printers across campus. The installation schedule should conclude The campus wide upgrade of printers and copiers is scheduled to be completed by the end of January. The first printers to be installed will be in administrative offices and new public spaces. Academic offices and labs will not be affected until after exams are completed. The majority of academic departments will have their new copier/printers installed and configured by Friday January 15th. Administrative office machines will continue to be changed over through the end of the month.
All of the new printers will utilize the FollowMe print model that will allow users to retrieve their printouts at any printer on campus. Users will be required to use their Canisius College ID card to perform any of the functions on these machines: printing, copying, scanning and so on. The enhanced security and flexibility offered by the new print services are just some of the new features to be introduced. Mobil Mobile printing will also be available soon. Users will then be able to print from tablets and mobile phones.

How do I get help with a printer?
Call Com Doc at 1-800-321-4846 for help with printer problems. All supported devices should have a ComDoc "Service and Supplies" sticker on them. When calling ComDoc for support, they will ask you for the EQUIP ID number. This number is found on the device's ComDoc sticker. For any issues that ComDoc can not handle (e.g. Print Driver, Network Problems) please contact the ITS Help Desk at x8340.Top of the Page
