Tips and Tricks - Where have my Scroll Bars Gone?

By default on newer versions of MacOS, the scroll bars are not always visible in a window.   Here is an easy way to make them come back permanently.

 

  1. Open the System Preferences by clicking on the Apple Menu in the upper left corner and selecting System Preferences
  2. Select the General settings

3. Click the button in under Show Scroll Bars, in front of Always.

4. Then close the System Preferences window by clicking the red dot in the upper left corner.

 

The Scroll bars should always appear for you now.
