D2L Dropbox for Students: Upload a File from Google Drive
In D2L, Students can upload a file directly from Google Drive-- without needing to download it first.

Upload a File Directly from Google Docs
| 1 | Go to the desired dropbox and click on Add a File in the Submit Assignment section. |

| 2 | Click on Google Drive in the menu that appears. Note: You may get a pop-up asking if you want to allow D2L to access your Google Drive. Make sure you confirm this. |

| 3 | The pop-up will update. Find the document that you want to upload to the dropbox. Near the top, we can see our various folders. However, if we scroll down a bit, we can also see our files. These are listed by last accessed/edited. We can also use the Search bar in the upper-right. Did you know?: Click and dragging on the three diagonal lines in the lower-right will allow us to make the pop-up larger. |

| 4 | When we have selected the file we want to upload, click on Upload in the bottom left. Note that Google Drive native files will be automatically converted. See D2L Dropbox for Students: Upload a File from Google Drive | Google Drive File Conversions below for more information. |

| 5 | Finally, click on Submit in the lower-left. |

Google Drive File Conversions
Note that files native to Google Drive (such as Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets, Google Drawings, etc.) will be converted. Below are some of the conversions.
