D2L: Bonus Grade Item
In this tutorial, we go over how to create a Bonus Grade Item. Bonus Grade Items are not included in the maximum points of the gradebook. Instead, they are added in addition to the overall category score or final grade. More information is available from D2L:
Manage Grades in the Grades tool - Brightspace

| 1 | In the Grades Tab, either create or Edit a Grade Item. |  Creating a new Grade Item OR Editing an existing Grade Item |
| 2 | Find the Grading section. | Highlighting Grading Section in the Grade Editor
