Microsoft Teams: Add Someone to a Private Channel

Hover over a Channel and click on the three horizontal dots. Click on Add member in the menu that appears.

Type in a user’s name or email address.

Note: Only those already added to the Team can be added to a private channel.

  • To add multiple members at once, send out a sharing link via email or post it in an available place.

When we do, they will be able to see the channel next when they access the Team.
