Microsoft Teams: Turn on End-to-end encrypted calls

Turn on End-to-end-encryption for Microsoft Teams calls. Note that all participants must have this option on for full encryption. Otherwise, the call is encrypted by Microsoft365. Click on the three horizontal dots to the left of our user icon.

Click on Settings in the menu that appears.

Click on Privacy in the left sidebar.

Scroll down until we find End-to-end encrypted calls and toggle it on or off.

When you are meeting with another person and they have End-to-end encryption enabled, there will be a lock icon in the lower-right of the shield icon of the Teams meeting.
