Use ADPassMon to Reset your Canisius Password

The following wiki is for Canisius Faculty and Staff with campus-owned Macintosh computers.

OS 10.9 or higher is required

Overview

In the past, Mac users may have noticed an issues with their keychains after changing their password through the website: canisius.edu/passwordreset. Installing ADPassMon alleviates this issues by natively changing the password through the Macintosh Architecture, avoiding the corruption of the keychain. ADPassMon displays the number of days until your password is set to expire and allows you to change your Canisius password

How to install ADPassMon

Step 1: Close all programs and save all work. A restart is required during the installation.

Step 2: Open Self Service in the Applications folder
