Get Email Notifications for Google Calendar
This is a brief guide on setting up email notifications for a specific Google Calendar. These email notifications can be especially useful for Appointment Calendars.
1 | Go to Google Calendar. Then, in the upper right, click on the Gear icon, to the left of your account image. | |
2 | Choose Settings from the dropdown menu | |
3 | In the left-hand sidebar, scroll down until you see Settings for my Calendars. Click on the Calendar that you want to receive email notifications for. | |
4 | Other options will appear below the calendar you clicked on. Click on Other Notifications. | |
5 | To the right of the menu, you will be brought down to the Other Notifications settings area. There are five drop-down menus that you can toggle and set to Email to receive email notifications. | |
6 | Toggle them all to get the most information about Events in your Google Calendar. This is especially useful for Appointment Calendars in Google Calendar. |
