Microsoft Teams: Download a Meeting Recording
A Microsoft Teams Recording can be downloaded in two ways:
Download the Recording from the Meeting Chat
This is probably the “quickest” way to download the recording.

| 2 | Chat will typically have the name of the meeting. It will also let us know when the Recording is done processing. | A meeting chat with a recording ready

| 4 | In the pop-up that appears, click on Watch in browser We can also download the Transcript as either a Word Doc or a VTT from the pop-up by clicking on Download in the Transcript section. | Watch in browser button

| 5 | The recording will open up in a new Browser Tab. Click on Download in the upper-left. | Download button

| 6 | The download should start automatically. Follow the on-screen instructions. |

Download the Recording from the Recordings Folder in OneDrive
We can also download the recording from OneDrive. There are two primary ways to access OneDrive. The first way is via the OneDrive link in the left-sidebar of Teams. The other way is to go to through MyCanisius. We will outline the latter process but, once you get to OneDrive, the steps are the same.

| 3 | In the menu that appears, click on OneDrive. | OneDrive button

| 5 | Find and click on the Recordings folder. If we are having trouble finding the Recordings folder, we can click on Name to sort the folder alphabetically. | Recordings folder.

| 6 | Click on the select circle that appears to the left of the recording we want to download. We recommend downloading recordings one at a time. If we select more than one, OneDrive will try to create a zip folder of the selected recordings, which typically takes longer to download vs. download each individually. | Highlighting the file selector/checkbox
