Copyleaks: Let Students View the Originality Report
In Copyleaks, we can choose whether or not we want students to see the Copyleaks Originality Report. This may be useful if we use Copyleaks to make comments on their assignment.
This is only useful if you are using the standalone Copyleaks Assignment tool (i.e. Add Existing Activities>Copyleaks Assignment). If we integrate Copyleaks to a D2L Dropbox, they will be able to view comments as normal; the Originality report is automatically exposed to students.
| 1 | Click on the Copyleaks Assignment we wish to let students view the originality report of. | Highlighting example standalone Copyleaks Assignment
|
| 2 | Click on Edit Assignment in the upper-right corner. | Highlighting the Edit Assignment option
|
| 3 | Click on the toggle to the left of “Expose originality report to students”. Tip: We will know that the setting is active because the dark blue circle will move from left to right and will change from dark blue to light blue. Then, click on Submit Changes. | Highlighting the toggle and submit button
