Audacity: Split a Clip
Splitting a clip allows us to move it around the timeline or different audio tracks and make certain edits and changes without worrying about accidentally doing it to the rest of the audio.
| 1 | In our audio clip, hover the cursor over the audio track at the point where we want to split the clip. We should see an I icon (image right).
