The following tutorial will show how to delete old local (i.e., on the laptop) recordings recorded with the Panopto Desktop Recorder application. This does not remove the recordings from Panopto itself, just deletes them from the laptop, freeing up some storage space.

Manually Delete Local Recordings

1	Open the Panopto Desktop Recorder.	Open Panopto Desktop Recorder
2	Click on Manage Recordings.	Open Highlighting Manage Recordings
3	Select Delete Local.	Open Highlighting Delete Local
4	The Panopto Desktop Recorder will automatically update the list.	Open Updated List

Automatically Delete Local Recordings

1	In the Panopto Desktop App, click on Settings.	Open
2	Check the box to the left of Delete recordings once they are uploaded. Then, click on Save in the lower-left.	Open
