DARS/uAchieve Client Install
Logon to computer as yourself
1) If not previously installed, install Oracle 11g client
A) Run the setup.exe file found on hogan01\images\Programmer Build\Current\OracleClientWindows\11gR2client_x32\client. Accept all the defaults during the installation.
2) Install the uAchieve client
A) Run the uac4.1.2_install.exe file found on \\hogan01\images\collegeSource.
B) Accept all the defaults during the installation.
3) From the hogan01\images\collegeSource directory copy the Darwin.ini to:
For 64 bit machines: C:\Program Files (X86)\collegeSource\uachieve41\Darwin.ini
For 32 bit machines c:\program Files\collegeSource\uachieve41\Darwin.ini
4) Some computers may have an issue with the registry for TNS-ADMIN. Check all regedit entries for ORACLE (HOME0-HOMEX) and Oracle_homes.

HOME0-HOMEX
On the right side of the screen, right click
Select New
String Value TNS_ADMIN
Value: q:\banner\netadmin
(You can test this by using the command prompt to run TNSPING PROD. IF TNSNAMES can resolve prod to the production database, this is setup correctly)
5) New users need to be granted the role DARS_AUDIT as a default role by Tracy Wass.
6) Start uAchieve
IDQ: 73 InstID 002681 CD - null
Please note, the only persons currently with logon access are Deborah Prohn, Pam Dart, Tom Prince, Laura Moeller, and Lisa Fischer. This access is based on the role granted in setup 5.
Troubleshooting:
ATL7.DLL error on startup:
If you receive this error on startup, copy this dll from the hogan01\images\colegeSource directory to:
For 64 bit machines: c:\windos\SysWOW64\
For 32 bit machines: c:\windows\System32\
Reboot the machine and launch the applcation to verify that it is working. Verify that the user can run and open an audit.
If the user is unable to open an audit:
Install the Adobe reader or the Adobe Suite of products to allow the user to open the pdf
