Powering Up the Equipment
The projector is controlled from the wall mounted Extron Control Panel Interface, located at the front left side of the room.  Select the Display ON button to turn the projector on. The button will blink red and the controls panel will not respond until the projector is finished warming up.  The PC and DVD/VCR combo unit are located in the equipment cabinet underneath the control panel at the front of the room, and must be powered up separately.  The wireless keyboard for the PC can be turned on by moving the power switch on the back of the unit to the on (Green) position.

Connecting a Laptop
The cables needed for connecting a laptop computer are found under the end of the conference table at the front of the room.

Using the VGA cable
1. Plug the VGA cable into your laptop's VGA port.

2. Plug the Ethernet cable into your laptop's network jack (if needed).

3. Plug the audio cable into your laptop's headphone jack.

4. Press the LAPTOP button on the Extron Control Panel Interface to view the Laptop on the projection screen.
5. Turn on your laptop's power.
6. If needed, set your laptop to display on a secondary display.

DVD Playback (via the DVD/VCR combo unit)

The resident computer, keyboard, and DVD/VHS combo unit must be powered off separately. Instructions for shutting down the computer are found below.
Be sure to remove any media from the equipment before shutting it down.
