Powering Up the Equipment
The Projector is controlled from the Epson remote control.  Press the ON button to turn the projector on. Allow the projector time to warm up (approximately 30 seconds. The PC and DVD player are located in the equipment Rack underneath the dry erase board at the front of the room, and must be powered up separately.  The HDMI switcher can select the PC, DVD player, or HDMI cable automatically when a connected device is powered on, or by selecting the source button for each input.  Input 1 selects the PC, 2 the HDMI cable for laptops, and 3 the DVD player.

The wireless keyboard for the PC can be turned on by moving the power switch on the back of the unit to the on (Green) position.

Projector Standby
The projected image can be blacked out using the AV MUTE button on the Sharp remoteEpson remote. Pressing this button will place the projector in standby mode.  Simply press the button again to take the projector out of standby mode.

Volume
The Epson remote also controls volume.  The audio level is adjusted by using the VOL+ and VOL- Volume buttons.

Resident Computer

  1. Press the Power button on the PC in the equipment rack at the front of the room.
  2. Turn on the keyboard by flipping the power switch on the back edge to ON (green).
  3. Press the HDMI/Video button on the Epson remote to select the HDMI 1 connection on the projector.  
  4. Press the 1 button on the switcher in the equipment rack, located above the DVD player.  
  5. USB ports are located on the front of the Dell desktop near the power button.

1. Plug the VGA cable into your laptop's VGA port.

DVD Playback

Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the DVD player and insert your disc into the disc tray. Press If you do not see your video, press the HDMI/Video button on the Epson remote to display the video from your DVDput the projector in HDMI 1, and press the 3 button on the switcher located above the DVD player.  Use the playback controls on either the front of the unit or the Sony remote control to play the DVD.

Powering Down the Equipment
Press the Standby Power button twice on the Sharp the Epson remote to shutdown the projector.  

The resident computer and DVD /VHS combo unit must player must be powered off separately. Instructions for shutting down the computer are found below.
Be sure to remove any media from the equipment before shutting it down.
