Powering Up the Equipment
The power for each device must be turned on separately. The 46" LED TV is powered on by pressing the POWER button on the Toshiba remote control.

The power button for the DVD/VCR is located in the lower left corner of the combo unit.



Volume
The adjustment of volume is done using the VOL + and - buttons on the Toshiba remote control.

NOTE: Computers have their own volume controls which may need to be adjusted separately.



DVD or VHS Tape Playback (via the DVD/VCR combo unit)
Once the equipment is powered up, insert your disc or VHS tape into the JVC DVD/VCR combo unit. The combo unit is controlled using the buttons on the unit or the corresponding JVC remote control provided.

JVC DVD/VCR remote control


The LCD TV must be set to input (1) DVD to display the DVD/VCR image. Press the INPUT button on the Toshiba remote control until (1) DVD is highlighted and then press ENTER. To switch between DVD and VCR modes, press the DVD/VCR button found on the combo unit itself.

NOTE: You can use the PIC SIZE button on the Toshiba remote control to toggle between different aspect ratios, if needed.


Connecting a Laptop
The cables needed for connecting a laptop computer are found at the table. Up to four laptops can be connected at once.

Each VGA cable has a retractable
audio cable and a "SHARE" button

 


Using the VGA cable

1. Plug one of the VGA cables into your laptop's VGA port.

2. Grab the end of retractable audio cable that will plug into your laptop and pull it gently to extend it to the desired length.

3. Plug the retractable audio cable into your laptop's headphone jack.

4. Press the INPUT button on the Toshiba remote control until the LED TV is set to (5) PC and then press ENTER.

 

5. Turn on your laptop's power.
 
6. Press SHARE on the VGA connector.
 
7. If needed, set your laptop to display on a secondary display.

Powering Down the Equipment
Press the POWER button on the Toshiba remote control to turn the LED TV off. The DVD/VCR combo unit must be powered off separately.

Be sure to remove any media from the equipment before shutting it down.
