Powering Up the Equipment
The flat panel TV is controlled with the Samsung remote control tethered to the conference table.  Press the power button to turn the display on.  If necessary press the SOURCE button to bring up the list of inputs, and select PC.  The PC desktop, BluRay player and HDMI switcher are located in the equipment rack, and must be turned on with their respective power buttons.

Volume

The room audio level is adjusted by using VOL + and - rocker on the Samsung remote control.  In addition, computer volume is controlled by the laptop or desktop.  On the start bar, to the right side is a volume widget.  Clicking here will allow the volume level to be adjusted up, down, or muted.

Playing a BluRay or DVD

  1. Insert your disc into the BluRay Player. Use the Sony remote control to operate the BluRay Player. The remote control should be located inside the drawer at the bottom of the equipment rack.
  2. Press the button labeled BluRay on the HDMI switcher located in the equipment rack next to the PC.
  3. If the image from the BluRay player does not appear, make sure the TV is set to PC.  Press the SOURCE button to bring up the list of inputs, and select PC.

Connecting a Laptop - HDMI

  1. Plug the HDMI cable into your laptop's HDMI port.  If your laptop does not have an HDMI port, click on Laptop/Tablet Display Adapters to find out what type of adapter is needed to connect your laptop.
  2. Press the button labeled HDMI on the HDMI switcher located in the equipment rack next to the PC.
  3. If the image from the laptop does not appear, make sure the TV is set to PC.  Press the SOURCE button to bring up the list of inputs, and select PC.
  4. If needed, set your laptop to display on a secondary display.

Using the Windows Desktop

  1. Turn on the PC desktop with the
  2. power button on the front of the unit.
  3. Turn on the wireless keyboard with built in track pad with the power switch located on the back of the unit.
  4. Press the button labeled PC on the HDMI switcher located in the equipment rack next to the PC.
  5. If the image from the PC does not appear, make sure the TV is set to PC.  Press the SOURCE button to bring up the list of inputs, and select PC.

Powering Down the Equipment

To turn off the TV, press the Power button on the Samsung remote control. 

The PC desktop, and BluRay player must be powered off separately.  Remember to remove any media from the BluRay player before leaving.  Instructions for shutting down the computer are found below.

Powering Down the Resident Desktop
1. Open the Start Menu (click on Image Added in the lower-left corner).

2. Click the "Shut Down" button.
