Powering Up the Equipment
The power for each device must be turned on separately. The 50" plasma TV is powered on by pressing the POWER button on the accompanying LG TV remote control or the TV itself.

Volume
The adjustment of volume is done using the VOL + and - buttons on the LG remote control.


Selecting an Input (or Source)
You can use either the LG remote control or the controls on the TV itself to select what source displays. Press the INPUT button to view the "Input List" screen.

  RGB-PC (PC): Displays a laptop
  connected using the VGA cable

  HDMI1 (PC): Displays a laptop
  connected using the HDMI cable;
  this icon will be grayed out unless
  the HDMI cable is connected

Ccontinue to press INPUT until your desired source is highlighted and then press OK. Your desired image should now appear on the TV.

The cables needed for connecting a laptop computer are found on the TV cart.

1. Plug the VGA cable into your laptop's VGA port.
 

1. Plug the HDMI cable into your laptop's HDMI port.

2. Plug the audio cable into your laptop's headphone jack.
 

2. Press the INPUT button on the LG remote control to view the "Input List" screen.
  
 



3. Press the INPUT button on the LG remote control to view the "Input List" screen.
 

3. Press the INPUT button until the HDMI1 (PC) icon is highlighed and then press OK.
   



4. Press the INPUT button until the RGB-PC (PC) icon is highlighted and then press OK.
 

4. If needed, set your laptop to display on a secondary display.

VGA and HDMI cables are on the cart


NOTE: You can press the RATIO button on the LG remote control to toggle between the different aspect ratios available (4:3 and 16:9) to ensure your image appears correctly. Once you have selected the desired aspect ratio press the EXIT button to close the menu.

Powering Down the Equipment
Press the POWER button on the LG remote control or the TV itself to turn it off.

Be sure to remove any media from the computer before shutting it down.
